We are a coliving villa in our roots. To be close to the beach for surfing and meet others sharing a good cup of coffee in the garden. If you want a party hostel, a quiet hotel, or a big nomad hub with a forced activity schedule, we are not your place. For those looking for a quiet place to focus and enjoy a good balance between sharing activities and maintaining your private time, we would love to host you in our home. Choose one of our rooms and experience Bakamuna as your home.
Our core feature is stable and fast internet to get your things done. We installed a mesh system throughout the house that enables every room to reach speed up to 200 MBPS. One of the few villa’s in the south that provides this quality in internet. Every room is equipped with a desk. Perfect for meetings or quick work under your personal A/C. You can also work in the air-conditioned office with a wonderful view over the jungle. Expect to be distracted by monkeys toying around. We also have a picknick table outside, a hammock and many other places where you can focus on your work.
A typical day at Bakamuna
- Early - Start the day with a coffee or tea (included in your stay)
- Morning - Sunrise surf in Hiriketiya hits different.
- Breakfast - Fresh fruit smoothie bowl or homemade bread with eggs?
- Noon - Time to open that laptop and answer your first emails in our office.
- Lunch - Local rice & curry with the house, share your progress.
- Afternoon - For your well deserved break there is only one option: the beach!
- Evening - Watch the sunset with your first cocktail of the day.
- Dinner - Moment you have been waiting all day, fine dining at our favorites nearby.
- Late - Wonder why not everyday can be like this..
